Connecting film, history, and our shared cross-border region, lies at the heart of two projects that Kinoatelje is developing as part of the official programme of the European capital of culture GO! 2025.
Under the umbrella of the broader project Cinecittà, cinema comes to life as a bridge linking cultures, generations, and visions for the future. These projects establish Kinoatelje as a space for dialogue, where film becomes a means for deeper understanding of the world, weaving new connections, and co-creating European cinematic heritage. It is built on a networking approach, fostering connections between film and cultural institutions, productions, and festivals, with the goal of further opening up the cross-border Gorizia area to new horizons.
